Jacket Style Kindle Cover v Kindle Sleeves?

Jan 27th, 2012 in Technology

I have always favoured leather book jacket shape Kindle covers before. This type of case made my heavy 2nd generation Kindle reader feel like a real paper book. This type of cover also offered terrific protection to a gadget that was expensive, costing going on for 250 dollars.
However my newest Kindle 4 wo-fi cost a mere , as a result could I really justify spending a lot of dollars on a swanky leather book style jacket kindle 4 cover Various book style Kindle covers (such as those that have built in book lights) costs nearly as much as the e book reader itself! Outrageous!
Even if I might (though in fact I couldn’t!), there was of course, something also to take into account;
these latest generation e-book readers are in basic terms superb to operate just as they are!
I really didn’t feel like a substantial bulky jacket style kindle cover getting in the way. Since it feels so comfortable using the diminutive kindle 4 wo-fi readers with just one hand that a bulky kindle jacket would change the user experience. Additionally, with the new non-slip backing to the Kindle wi-fi they seem a lot more safe in the hand the way they are. I would worry about losing my grip on the ebook reader when using it. Currently it feels super “grippy” I never feel That i need a case on it when using it “just in case”.
So then, a book jacket type kindle case or else a simple pouch No debate, I selected a groovy sleeve style Kindle cover!
Nevertheless, I see there are times when a jacket style kindle cover could be more appropriate:
1. If you desire a book light close always, but without having to carry around anything too large then you could desire a jacket style kindle cover which has a reading light included.
2. When you love to read “without holding it” like if eating, a flip stand kindle cover is a good buy.
3. When you if truth be told pine for the sense of a “real” book, a jacket type kindle cover would help you get the old fashioned book feel back!
Personally – no debate because it just had to be a sleeve style case, and not a jacket style cover!
